Description:

Responsibilities:

The Test Manager role manages the CBMS Test team effectively and efficiently, providing quality services and innovative approaches to systems and processes. This includes providing effective management of CBMS, SAP testing operations. This role ensures that the team delivers exceptional support to meet or exceed business outcomes. This may include support to:

  • Provide team support to a team of testers both APS staff and contractors, including mentoring junior testers.
  • Testing technical and business upgrades and updates for the CBMS SAP Application environment
  • Australian Government Budget processes/procedures
  • Whole of Government consolidations and SAP’s Business Consolidation System.
  • Continuous improvement to CBMS policy, process and procedures

The role requires operational experience in an SAP environment to support demands in areas such as:

  • Experience in testing procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing test designs and test cases.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end testing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated sound knowledge of QA practices and processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Excel spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrated sound communication skills (including the ability to consult with stakeholders and coordinate activities with other team members).
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with business stakeholders.
  • Testing certification skills would be highly desirable; and
  • Experience with automated testing tools would be desirable.
  • Monitoring, analysing, and delivering within agreed timeframes.
  • Collaboration and engagement with customers, vendors, and functional leads
  • Experience and knowledge in automation and associated framework
