Job Title: CBT Practitioner
Location: Home Based, UK
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time or Part time (min of 3 days per week), Monday – Friday. 37.5 hours per week.

Role Summary:
Due to significant business growth, we are looking for an Accredited CBT Practitioner to join our nationwide team. You will work within our EAP (employer assistance programme) and occupational health service conducting high quality evidence-based CBT sessions on a remote basis to help employees remain or return to work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to provide telephone or video sessions and on occasion face to face to meet business demands
- Ability to travel to a base office and to travel for training, development and client work at customer sites
- To directly book appointments with clients and manage a diary system
- To maintain confidential customer and client records in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations
- To handle all cases in a professional manner, adhering to Optima Health’s values and codes of practice.
- To fully commit to continuing professional development in line with business needs including relevant computer and management training and professional development.
- To undertake any ad hoc responsibilities as and when requested by Management
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE ROLE:
- Experience of providing CBT to an adult client base.
- Minimum of Accredited status as a CBT Therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
- Experienced in the management of psychological trauma.
- Have an understanding and be able to use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication skills to enhance professional practice.
- Confident and competent computer user is essential. We use several databases and programs including Word for Windows and Microsoft Outlook, there is a requirement that you would be able to follow simple instructions over the phone for basic computer issues with our IT support team if required.
