CBT Therapist

at  Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust

The successful applicant will carry their own caseload providing CBT patient in the service. They will undertake specialist CBT assessment, formulation and intervention, collaborating with clients and multi-disciplinary colleagues. The role involves undertaking risk assessment and management. The consideration of culture, power and privilege within a patient care making adaptations to treatment as appropriate They will provide advice, guidance and consultation on Cognitive Behaviourally informed approaches to other staff.
Person Specification: Specialist CBT Therapist Practitioner or First Accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with BABCP AND A qualification that leads to registration with a professional regulatory body and current registration OR a Knowledge Skills Attitude (KSA) equivalence portfolio approved as part of BABCP accreditation.
