quality, user-friendly rendering tool: Lumion. Our Headquarters are based in The Netherlands, near Leiden and Amsterdam, and we have a worldwide presence, especially in the USA.

Due to our growth potential, we are expanding our executive team with a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) position. The CCO will be a pivotal leader within Act-3D, reporting into the CEO and responsible for driving the company’s commercial strategy and overseeing all sales and marketing activities. The primary focus of the CCO will be on:

  • leading the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets,
  • expanding market presence,
  • fostering customer relationships,
  • managing strategic partnerships,
  • develop a data driven approach to the marketing, sales and customer success function.

This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in SaaS and partner sales, a deep understanding of our market dynamics (preferably AEC sector knowledge), and the ability to build, inspire, connect and lead a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

OUTLINE OF THE ROLE:

Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve company revenue goals and strategic objectives.
Lead and mentor the Head of Sales and the Head of Marketing, setting clear performance objectives and ensuring strong cooperative relationships between the two departments. In the meanwhile working closely with the product development team in order to share market information and discuss strategy.

Sales and Sales Operations Leadership:

  • Develop a strategic view on our future Sales Department and recruit and build the Sales Department accordingly, together with the Head of Sales. Make sure both the Sales Operations Team and the Partner Management Team are developed towards a high performing team, in a structured, scalable way. Be the driver behind recruiting new high quality sales colleagues.
  • Be the sparring partner for the Head of Sales in order to structure the sales processes. Set ambitious sales targets and develop plans to meet or exceed them. Monitor and analyze
  • sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results for both direct channel and the international partners.
  • Foster strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and challenges. Implement customer retention strategies to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and target key markets and new partners, developing tailored approaches to maximize penetration and growth. Explore and implement innovative sales techniques and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness:
  • selecting the right partners in line with strategic plan
  • review existing partners based on strategy and performance
  • focus partnership on upselling / cross-selling and retention.

Marketing Management:

  • Work closely with the marketing manager to create effective campaigns that drive brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Guide the marketing Manager and team to develop and execute integrated sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to enter and grow in these markets both from a marketing and sales perspective.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the company, advocating for their needs and driving product improvements.

Collaboration and Cross-functional Leadership:

  • Interact on a regular basis with the product development team to ensure the sales and marketing strategy aligns with product offerings and capabilities, whilst sharing market information.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes as a key member of the executive team.
