Description:

Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a CCTV Installation Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis to cover Luton and surrounding areas (including London).
As a CCTV Installation Engineer at Clearway, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, commissioning, and general maintenance of our range of CCTV towers and systems.
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A full UK driving licence.
- Possess a good understanding of basic electrical and electronic systems/principles. Full product training will be given.
- Working knowledge of networking, firewalls, power issues, fault finding, along with basic electrical skills (CAT 5 cabling, splicing, continuity testing, fuse testing etc.)
- Access control, intruder, and door entry systems experience would be an advantage although full training will be given.
- Commissioning experience.
- Knowledge of general site safety rules, and health and safety regulations.
- ECS/CSCS/SSSTS card.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
- Ability to plan and organise daily tasks independently.
- Willing and capable of learning new technology and skills.
- Capable of working on your initiative and seeking support if necessary.
- Problem solving skills - finding and evaluating information to make decisions and solve problems.
You will be required to undertake and pass a DBS Check (Paid for by the company).

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Travel within the required location to pick up equipment and travel to and from project locations and sites.
- Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV systems, Access Control, and ANPR Systems in a variety of premises.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service and communication.
- Maintaining records of works, including service reports, installation logs, test sheets and equipment inventories.
- Responding promptly to emergency repair requests, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
- Working independently as well as part of a small team of engineers/subcontractors.
- To follow safe working, compliance, and operating procedures.
- The role requires the candidate to work well both independently and in a team environment.
