Description:
We are looking for experienced CCTV Security Supervisor to join our team in London, Sancroft. EC1A 7HD - smart appearance, excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service are all key for this position.
Position: CCTV Security Supervisor
Pay rate: £15.95 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (days, nights)
Location: 10-15 Newgate Street, Sancroft, EC1A 7HD

Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all CCTV, access control and alarm systems for the site whilst adhering to the Data Protection Act 1998. To include maintaining the access log.
- Ensure accurate records are maintained of all equipment including alarm systems, monitoring and report any defects to the Security Manager on a daily shift basis to ensure appropriate and timely response and repair of equipment.
- Take ownership and control of the issue of contractor passes, keys & radios and ensure that the issue DOBs are kept up to date & report any anomalies to the Security Manager.
- Carry out daily verification checks to ensure all control room systems are fully operational and where they are not, initiate corrective action.
- Maintain the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) to ensure all incidents and occurrences are up to date.
- To be conversant with all life safety systems and assist in responding to all emergencies promptly as illustrated in the Assignment Instructions.
- Pass on any telephone enquiries or message to the relevant people or department via e-mail, phone or text.
- Monitor report and escalate to the Security Manager any incidents reported through news media and emails which may impact on the region or site.
- Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports as requested.
- Ensure all extra cover is accurately monitored and recorded.
- Ensure compliance with legal, Company and contractual obligations.
- Provide accurate and timely reports from CCTV & Access Control systems.
- Maintain accurate and correct documentation and update as required.
- Make enquiries and submit reports on incidents as instructed by the Security Manager
- Be aware of policy and procedures owned and changed from time to time by Ward Security
- Be aware of policy and procedures owned and changed from time to time by the region or site.
- Carry out any other reasonable request as required by the Security Manager.
