Cement Plant Operator - Bagging Shed

Based at Pinkenba you will be required to become multi-skilled to meet the interesting challenges of production operations, in our exciting 24hr days, 7 days a week cement plant!

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Forklift Licence
• Proficient in using computers
• Experience working in a continuous manufacturing workplace (Preferable)
• Experience working on a rotating continuous shift roster (Preferable)
• Mechanically minded with strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and a flexible ‘can-do’ attitude

• Operation of the cement plant (Grinding Mills & Packaging Lines) and Mobile Equipment (Front End Loaders, Forklifts & Excavators)
• Collection and analysing of all cement production samples
• Diagnose plant problems, instigate repairs and participate with maintenance staff as required
• Grease & Clean Mobile Machinery
• Perform Inspections on both fixed and mobile plant equipment
• Comply with Wagners Obligations under Chain of Responsibility
• Any other related tasks associated with this position
