The Center for Precision Environmental Health (https://www.bcm.edu/centers/precision-environmental-health) invites applications for a faculty search. Applications will be considered for non-tenure-track Assistant Professor positions.
A top-20 medical school, ranked among the best research-intensive institutions in the USA, Baylor College of Medicine is in Houston, Texas, in the heart of the Texas Medical Center, the largest biomedical research campus in the world. The Center for Precision Environmental Health is a highly interactive, interdisciplinary group of faculty, students and fellows working to understand the underlying causes of disease through research at the intersection of genetics, environmental health, and computational biology. The Center occupies dedicated space in the Alkek building and the Neurosensory Center on the Baylor College of Medicine main campus, with open modern labs and an adjacent office and administrative suite.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, or equivalent) with a strong record of scholarly activity.

Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will use innovative approaches to study important questions in cell and molecular biology and gene-environment interactions, broadly defined. Applicants’ research programs should complement existing Center faculty strengths in environmental health, cell and developmental biology, genetics, epigenetics, cancer biology, neurocognitive/neurodegenerative disease, and model systems of human disease, including vertebrate and invertebrate model organisms.
