Description:

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

Provides strategic leadership of the imaging center through managing Center staff and onsite operations. Reviews procedures for accuracy and efficiency and oversees business and operational aspects by working closely with administration to ensure assigned Center meets goals and objectives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Three plus years’ experience in a healthcare environment
  • Two plus years’ experience in a leadership position with experience in staff supervision
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
  • Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
  • Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
  • Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent education, training and experience

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Provides day-to-day oversight of Center operations and supervision of staff.
  2. Participates in budget creation of assigned Center. Responsible for the profit and loss performance of the Center.
  3. Implements and enforces all application regulatory standards, requirements and guidelines in the Center. Ensures compliance of policies and procedures by personnel.
  4. Coordinates staff work and training schedules, performs employee evaluations and performance management, provides coaching, and assists in the interviewing, hiring and orientation of new employees.
  5. Oversees and takes responsibility for the delivery of care to all patients served by the Center. Monitors patient service feedback and responds to all escalated customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Represents the organization with all referral sources, physicians and the community on as-needed basis in conjunction with Marketing Account Manager.
  7. Delegates referral process/coordination, staffing coordination, supply inventory and distribution and oversees the completion of these processes as necessary.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Center Manager provides daily leadership and operational support to the employees at the Center. This position is also responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within the Center.
