POSITION SUMMARY

Temporary hourly-intermittent Student Assistant positions the Anthropology Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

• It is preferred that the incumbent has previous experience with the CCaIC, GIS, ArcMap, and Database technical programs.
• It is preferred that the incumbent has previous experience with independent analysis and problem solving activities.
• It is preferred that the incumbent be an upper classmen.
• It is preferred that the incumbent has taken and passed, Introduction to Archaeology and any other upper division Archaeology courses.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with electronic data entry for archaeological/historical resource documents
• Assist with scanning of archaeological/historical resource documents
• Assist with database entry and GIS mapping/digitizing.
• Other duties as assigned.
