The Centre Coordinator will play a key role in supporting an exciting schedule of activities and outputs by providing coordination across financial administration, events, publications and research projects and proposals across research programmes in the newly-formed Centre for Global Governance and Security which brings together four existing programmes (International Security, International Law, Global Health Security, and Digital Governance).

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery
Deliver on administrative processes, including but not limited to: general maintenance of office systems; financial administration (e.g. raise and process invoices, process expense claims and credit card statements, maintain financial records); administration of CRM database and maintaining data in compliance with GDPR processes; administration of Associate Fellowships and Consultancies.
Support proposal development and project management by assisting with budgeting, financial reporting and other requirements.
Publications and communications: collate outputs for newsletters and other communication materials; promote Centre outputs, including publications, digital outputs and events; support with managing social media channels; maintaining website pages; coordinate production of research publications and keep records up to date.
Coordinate events, including room bookings, coordinating attendance, travel and accommodation, and provide other logistical support as needed; represent the Centre at meetings of the Events Working Group.
People
Collaborate with colleagues, funders and partners to ensure effective coordination and communication of plans, progress, and outcomes.
Ensure timely internal communications on activities and news amongst staff, consultants, and Associate Fellows.
Build positive relationships with colleagues and create a positive working culture, ensuring good practice is shared and embodying the institute’s high-quality standards.
Follow the Institute’s and funders’ requirements on administrative and reporting tasks.
Direct support to the Centre Manager and Leads.
Strategy
Assist the Centre Manager and Leads in producing financial forecasts.
Support Centre and Institute-wide initiatives to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of activities.
Contribute to the delivery of the Chatham House EDI strategy.
Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
Outstanding administration, coordination and organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and able to work under tight timeframes whilst balancing various tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in coordinating and delivering high-quality events for online meeting platforms and for large in-person events.
Experience using digital communication channels eg. X and email promotion tools.
Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
A collaborative approach, able to form positive working relationships with people at all levels, internally and externally.
Good IT skills and familiarity with Office 365 suite (inc. MS Teams, Word and Outlook).
Good command of Excel.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Experience working with databases/CRM software.
Experience working in a similar organisation.
Good general knowledge of global affairs and an interest in global governance.

Salary: £32,500 per year.
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
Location: Hybrid (Office/Home), minimum 2 days in the office per week.
