Description:
Scholars of the Queensway is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Centre Coordinator (full-time) to join our team. If you’re looking for a challenging and rewarding work environment, we want to hear from you!
As a successful Scholars Centre Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Education Director in managing day-to-day operations (sales, customer service, and administrative tasks), including preparing educational materials, curriculum and programming, scheduling, follow up with teachers, the administration of assessments, and conferencing with parents. Candidates must have a strong passion for helping children reach their academic goals.

- Currently live in South Etobicoke or a nearby area
Responsibilities:
CENTRE GROWTH RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help in handling new inquiries, assessments, enrollments, and conferences with parents
- Meet goals established with the Education Director
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with teachers, educational specialists and other school administrators, parent/teacher organizations, case managers, and community contacts
- Manage daily business operations
CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CURRICULUM SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keep clients informed on program progress and conference with them on an ongoing basis
- Write and recommend goal-based programs, and monitor programs for progress
- Create a positive learning environment in the centre for staff, students, and parents
- Oversee and schedule student programs
- Anticipate and be responsive to the needs and expectations of clients, including those of parents, students, and case managers, and respond in a prompt manner
- Communicate accurate and complete information to clients in a considerate, professional, knowledgeable and accurate manner
- Take responsibility for understanding, managing and meeting client needs and expectations
Candidates should be able to make a commitment to the job for at least 2 years. This is a long-term job, not a temporary job.
Candidates must be able to work during our hours of operation below:
Mondays - Thursdays, 12:00 - 8:00 pm
Saturdays, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
(Fridays and Sundays are off)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
