CANDIDATE:
Responsible for day to day operations, we are looking for a seasoned/experienced Centre Manager to open our new service located in Ballan! You will come on board early and recruit your team, create your tailored induction for your team and set each learning space up.
Ensure statutory child protection requirements are fully complied.
Establish and execute educational programs to enhance the physical, mental, social and emotional capabilities of children.
Make sure all children can receive proper care in the centre.
Make sure the environment of the centre is safe to staff and visitors.
Make sure all childcare related statutory regulations are satisfied.
Make sure all children records are properly maintained in the system.
Perform staff recruitment and maintain proper records.
Arrange professional development for staff.
Make sure the operation of the centre can meet performance targets set by the management.
Communicate with parents properly especially those with different cultural backgrounds.
Communicate with our partner in Finland to make sure the operation of the centre is satisfying the Finnish education concepts.
Communicate with the management to reflect the operation of the centre and to execute the instructions from the management.
Participate in marketing campaigns to promote the brand and the centre.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or any other equivalent qualifications
- Valid first aid qualification for education and care setting
- Valid accredited child protection training
