QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- AHA BLS prior to start date required
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from NJ Department of Health required
- Valid Nurse Aide in Long Term Care Certificate and registration in good standing with the New Jersey Nurse Aide Registry required
- Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred
Responsibilities:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CNA will provide basic care to patients including assisting with feeding, bathing, transferring, positioning, ambulation, and other duties associated with the patient s needs. Because of the personal nature of this role, Certified Nursing Assistants should be compassionate and enjoy helping others.
