THE CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Successfully completed an accredited educational program for surgical technologists AND hold and maintains the Certified Surgical Technologist credential administered by the NBSTSA; or has completed an appropriate training for surgical technology in the US armed forces or the US Public Health Service; or was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility in South Carolina before 01/01/2008; or is in the service of the federal government. 3. Must have current BCLS certification 4. Previous hospital experience preferred 5. Must be certified through the NBSTSA
