We have an opportunity you’re going to love.WHAT YOU WILL DO - Prepares for surgical procedures by obtaining appropriate instruments, supplies and equipment and appropriate records for specific surgical procedures; opens surgical supplies/equipment, cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization process and restocks pre-operative carts. - Arrange instrument trays, prepare sterile drapes and solutions, and help the surgical team put on caps, gowns, and gloves. - Assists in the clean up of surgical environment after a procedure, ensuring the operating room is cleaned and set up for turnover to the next procedure. - Removes equipment from surgery room and follows proper procedure to dispose of contaminated equipment and supplies. - Assist with prep of patients as needed. - Clinic responsibilities may include rooming patients, taking vitals, orders, and routing phone calls. WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED - Ability to interact with others in a calm, friendly and caring manner. - Strong organizational and analytical skills. - Ability to follow well-defined instructions and comply with regulations, standards and procedures. - Strong ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Qualifications - Required High School Diploma/GED - 4 years Surgical Technician Preferred - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - . - Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
