CERTIFIED TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: UK&I/ Midlands - Travel up to 65% of the role

Responsibilities:
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties you will
- Lead and develop a team of Certified and Business Facilitators to deliver the Certified team strategy.
- Create and execute plans to produce Master Facilitators and Business Facilitators within their own Teams and Business Units and functions
- Encourages a feedback culture by role modelling openness to receive and give feedback, actively demonstrates changes in behaviour as a result of feedback being received.
- When facilitating the Certified Manager provides motivational and developmental feedback and coaching to their co-facilitator, helping all Facilitators to improve their facilitation skills, content knowledge and business awareness.
- Delivers Certified products and supports their Co-Facilitator to deliver to the high standards specified in the DSC Facilitator Role Profile. Ensures a globally high standard of facilitation of Certified content is achieved and creates an effective adult learning experience for all participants.
- Observes, leads and facilitates, providing feedback and coaching that develops the facilitation skills and content knowledge of all Facilitators in the team in line with the DSC Facilitator Role Profile and guidance from the content owner
- Agreeing a development plan with individuals that supports newly certified Business Facilitator’s to develop their facilitation skills in line with the DSC Facilitator Role Profile and the learning objectives of the Facilitator TTF module.
- Works alongside the wider Certified Team and COE to ensure deployment plans are understood and can be met by providing the coaching to individuals to achieve the required number of facilitators at the right level within the Business units and Functions.
- Demonstrates continuous learning and development, role modelling behaviours and creates a growth mindset.
- Delivers quality virtual training and facilitation to the same high standards of f2f , is technically competent in the use of technology and able to coach and support others.
- Build relationships with Business Unit Leadership teams and Functions and ensuring support for Certified curriculum is maintained to an acceptable level.
- Use of metric reporting to support and develop strategies to achieve KPI’s.
- Support the business on bespoke projects utilising the elements of Coaching and Facilitation skills. To build leadership skills and deliver our culture of Respect and Results behaviours, identifies the required outcome, proposes a plan and deliver that plan (potentially through others who have been coached).
- Support the wider COE on relevant projects – examples include but not limited to DEIB, Data, Emerging Talent and Talent Development. HR Certified curriculum
- Support the DSC Global team to reach global targets.
