We are currently seeking qualified applicants for Certifying Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our growing crew of aviation professionals dedicated to high quality heavy maintenance operations. We believe in investing in our people. Our Heavy Check Operations not only further cement our operations in the Winnipeg aviation market, but also help facilitate additional growth and training opportunities for all our Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Required: Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience such as FAA Training;
  • Required: M2, or E Aircraft Maintenance License with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Individuals who have relevant experience and have completed an ICS course will also be considered
  • Required: Type Course certified on one or more of the following aircrafts:
  • Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400
  • ATR-42 or ATR-72
  • Required: Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on company aircraft
  • Experience in heavy maintenance operations would be considered an asset.
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
  • Troubleshooting skills;
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization and communication skills; and
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, modifying, and repairing both DHC-8 and ATR aircraft, parts, and components to the highest industry standards for all projects
  • Ensuring the aircraft operates properly and safely through maintenance repairs and inspections.
  • Supporting management and maintenance supervisors and provide guidance to Non-Certifying AMEs
