POSITION OVERVIEW

The Certifying Staff is a key partner in supporting the day-to-day business and quality compliance at the repair station, ensuring maintenance processes are performed an efficient and proper manner in accordance with the approved company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations.
  • Has previously been issued with Certification Authorization for Release to Service activities to a Category C level, issued by the National Aviation Authority.
  • Technical Knowledge to undertake Maintenance functions.
  • Sheet Metal work experience.
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding role.
  • Computer skills- outlook, word, excel, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand OEM maintenance data.
  • Ability to read technical publications and drawings.
  • Exposure to quality systems.
  • Attention to detail
  • Competent in the use of hand tools, machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent technical communication skills.
  • Flexible, agile, adaptable and self-motivated.
  • Passion for Customer Service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift, pull, and push in excess of 65 lbs.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, Repair and Return to Service aviation components in accordance with the relevant OEM technical publications, company MOE and EASA Part 145 Regulations.
  • To perform maintenance to the standards as specified in the OEM maintenance data and company procedures.
  • Support OEM’s in the assembly of new components.
  • Understand and comply with customers specific requirements.
  • Actively promote the “Zero Harm” ideals.
  • Participate in the development, improvement and implementation of the workplace safety management systems.
  • Performing the physical final inspection of components.
  • Issuing Authorized Release to Service documentation for the components maintained at the station facility.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
