We are offering an exciting opportunity for a CFO in our Non-Profit organization based in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, manage audit and grant processes, and work directly with the Board of Directors. The role also involves strategizing and implementing operational initiatives and building a robust team within the finance department.

• Oversee the entire gamut of financial operations within the organization
• Manage and streamline the processes related to audits and grants
• Analyze and provide insights on Government funding, Contracts, and grant processes
• Develop and implement strategic operational initiatives for financial efficiency
• Work directly with the Board of Directors and provide valuable recommendations
• Design the workflow within the finance team on a daily basis
• Build, develop, and manage a high-performing team within the finance department
• Leverage Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial management
• Ensure adherence to all accounting functions, auditing, budget processes, and cash flow analysis
• Understand and manage Government Grants, Fund Accounting - Non-Profit, and Non-profit Accounting.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a CFO or similar high-level financial leadership role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions
• Proficiency in Auditing
• Aptitude for Budget Processes
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
• Experience with Government Grants
• Experience with Fund Accounting - Non-Profit
• Proficiency in Non-profit Accounting
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven strategic planning and business development experience
• Knowledge of non-profit legal guidelines and best practices
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is required
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
• Proven track record of managing financial strategies and operations for a non-profit organization
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections
• Experience in strategic planning and execution, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
• Ability to engage with and present to Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
