Description:
We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team based in Irvine, California. The CFO will play an essential role in the financial management of the organization, including overseeing financial activities, preparing financial reports, and participating in strategic planning. This position operates within a dynamic and fast-paced work environment and is crucial to our company’s success.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the organization’s financial activities
- Prepare current financial reports and summaries
- Participate in strategic planning for the corporation
- Implement and oversee domestic and international accounting policies and procedures
- Maintain adherence to new accounting pronouncements
- Direct the monthly closing process and preparation of financial statements
- Coordinate with outside accounting firms for annual audit and tax return preparation
- Oversee all accounting and tax-related matters
- Establish banking relations and manage cash, including credit negotiations and loan covenant compliance
- Analyze M& A/Investment opportunities and provide financial expertise for potential start-ups, acquisitions, and/or merger deals
- Manage corporate insurance programs and ensure maximum benefits
- Oversee property management including tenant lease negotiations
- Direct domestic and international litigation processes
- Review planning processes and suggest improvements to current methods
- Identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination in operations.
- Proficient in the use of 3M systems
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Familiarity with Business systems
- Proficiency in CRM systems
- Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
- Experience with Auditing processes
- Familiarity with Budget Processes
- Knowledge of Capital Management
- Ability to perform Cash Flow Analysis
