Context:
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for finance and solid experience as a finance manager, preferably in a similar industry. You have strong professional skills, an analytical mindset, and enjoy working in teams, being proactive, and taking ownership of responsibilities. We can tailor the role somewhat for the right candidate, so we encourage applications from those with extensive experience as well as from those who have recently stepped into a CFO role.
Missions/Main Duties:

Finance & Accounting

  • Manage and develop the finance and administrative team, setting goals and objectives, and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the company’s strategic plans, providing financial analysis and insights.
  • Projects financial management
  • Manage the monthly closing process
  • Establish the statutory accounts
  • Manage the relationship with external and internal auditors
  • Ensure compliance with accounting local and Group standards, regulations, and guidelines
  • Follow-up of the client billing and cashing of the country projects

Treasury:

  • Manage all bank POAs as per company rules and local regulation
  • Handle all the banking matters (opening or closing bank account, bank facilities, bank guarantees…)
  • Management of the cash repatriation and cash calls between Systra Norway and the HQ
  • Management of the Treasury forecast through our tool “Cash Solve”
  • Management of the Treasury reportings

Tax:

  • Manage and oversee the company’s tax planning and compliance activities, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Manage the relationship with the tax auditors/advisors

Internal Control:

  • Conduct the Group Finance Self-Assessment campaign and implement the improvement plan
  • Deploy the group finance procedures

Profile/Skills:

  • Strong collaboration skills, commitment, attention to detail, and a drive to contribute to business growth
  • Higher education in finance or economics, preferably a master’s degree
  • Solid background in accounting and reporting, ideally with group reporting experience
  • Fluency in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
  • Strong IT skills and an interest in digitalization
