As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager in Cloud Foundational Services, you are a foundational member of a team responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across the product space, while being directly responsible for creating structures that enhance coordination in our product line.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Management Lead to oversee our Cloud Technology Portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the book of work, implementing zero-based budgeting, coordinating investment asks, and leading monthly and quarterly business reviews. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of cloud technology.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in portfolio management, project management, or a related role, preferably within the cloud technology sector.
- Strong understanding of cloud technology and its applications.
- Proven experience with zero-based budgeting and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities:
- Book of Work Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the cloud technology portfolio.
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Zero-Based Budgeting:
- Develop and implement zero-based budgeting processes for the cloud technology portfolio.
- Collaborate with finance and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient budget planning.
- Track and report on budget performance, identifying areas for cost optimization.
- Investment Asks:
- Coordinate and prepare investment proposals for new and ongoing cloud technology initiatives.
- Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisions.
- Present investment asks to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing clear and compelling justifications.
- Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews:
- Lead the preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly business reviews for the cloud technology portfolio.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess portfolio performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Global Organizational strategy and optimization
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the global team footprint, balancing cost-efficiency with operational effectiveness
- Ensure the right distribution of talent across locations to enhance resilience and meet organizational goals
- Identify opportunities to consolidate or expand teams in key regions, driving both cost savings and improved performance
- Continuously evaluate and adjust the global workforce strategy to align with business growth and evolving market demands
