Position: Foodservice Sales Consultant
Department: Convenience Sales
Reports To: Chain Convenience Manager
About the Role: As a Foodservice Sales Consultant you’ll assist our new and existing clients by offering expertise in product selection, menu creation, custom ordering guides, and support for foodservice promotions. This is an exciting position ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about food trends and enjoys building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site customer support with product selection.
- Conduct food preparation demos and train customers.
- Introduce new products, menu ideas, and provide samples.
- Identify sales opportunities during customer visits.
- Create custom guides and menus for new accounts.
- Coordinate with vendors for product demos and updates.
- Process orders and handle credits.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Resolve customer issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Report customer needs and market trends to management.

Qualifications:

- Ability to read, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people.
- Basic math skills for everyday tasks.
- Familiarity with technology tools like smartphones, laptops, and email software for company use.
- Ability to concentrate, use independent judgment, and adapt to multiple tasks. Physical ability to sit, drive, and occasionally lift or bend as required.
- A valid, non-suspended driver’s license and reliable transportation.
