Description:

Location: Manchester/Leeds + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent base salary + Benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

WHO YOU ARE

  • Understanding of Change Management methodology & principles (ITIL or similar)
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certificate is desired
  • Organised and delivery focused, strong planning skills, effective time-management
  • Ability to interpret, analyse and present appropriate data to all organisational levels
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, through strong communication

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • To own, execute and drive the Change Management process, using effective organisation and planning skills to enable the efficient co-ordination and communication of all Change Requests
  • Ensure all current Changes are logged and progressed, have accurate impact statements, are risk assessed, are prioritised with appropriate severity, and are approved by appropriately defined personnel
  • Identify, escalate, and manage risks and issues to ensure changes are deployed effectively within the live environment
  • Identify new ways of working to enhance the existing process and strive for simplicity in the management of Changes
  • To act as a Change Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to guide the onboarding of new services, products, processes, and customers that require the support of the Change Management team
  • Accurately communicate all relevant planned Changes to impacted customers and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with Operational Leads, Service Managers, Project / Programme Managers, Customers and Supplier

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a member of the Change Management team, you will work within an ITIL based Change Management framework in which standardised methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all technology changes. This is to minimise the impact of change related incidents upon service quality, and consequently improve the day-to-day operation of Vodafone and its Customers.
You will be responsible for the governance of the Change Management process, which includes the review, assessment, communication, and accurate closure of all technical changes in accordance with agreed service level agreements.
Responsibility for driving continual improvement in change planning and deployment measured against defined KPIs to maintain the stability of Vodafone and its customers.
