Description:

Change Delivery – Retail Transformation is an exciting, dynamic, and fast paced area, which is responsible for managing and delivering successful business change aligned to the Nationwide Strategy. We work closely with a wide range of stakeholders from across Nationwide on a variety of deliveries. Everything we do has a direct impact on Nationwide’s success, whether because of improving service offerings, enhancing processes, or mitigating risk – in this team you will make a direct difference to our customers and colleagues.
In this role you will lead small-medium scale change and be responsible for delivering business readiness activities to colleagues across Retail. Ensuring that change is effectively delivered across Nationwide at the required pace and standards, implemented in a considered and controlled manner, fully realising the benefits and outcomes of change. You will also support Change Manager’s with medium and large business change deliveries, leading on specific workstreams and working alongside other change consultants where applicable.

ABOUT YOU

As a minimum requirement you’ll:

  • Experience of delivery small scale change or business improvements
  • Have knowledge and experience of change management, methodologies, and their application
  • Experience in Process Mapping and identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities
  • Have excellent organisational, planning and communication skills linked to delivering change
  • Be able to build effective stakeholder relationships across the business up to senior management level to ensure successful change implementations through managing and implementing small scale changes across our frontline teams.
  • Understand customer needs and the different channels they interact with us through.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll be able to work alone effectively using your initiative as well as working alongside others.
  • Flexibility to move from one delivery to another to meet business needs.
  • Have a good level of ability using Excel, VISO and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

  • Working with both Change Managers and Senior Change Managers you will support the planning, scoping, implementation and embedding of medium and large-scale projects, as well as leading the Retail Readiness delivery of smaller projects and change initiatives into all frontline teams.
  • Opportunity to support the Senior Change Managers, Change Managers and Risk Partners to engage with stakeholders across Retail Product to map processes E2E effectively and accurately aligned to the societies mapping standards and stored in the society’s repository of ARIS.
  • You will apply appropriate change management practices to all deliveries, including full governance lifecycle following the societies standards.
  • Build and manage relationships across all business areas and at all levels, establishing an effective working relationship between all members of the change team.
  • Act as an ambassador for Change Delivery, championing the customer (internal and external) as part of change delivery and ensuring you represent the needs of the Community within corporate projects that will both drive forward delivery, but also influence decision making and ensuring alignment with the Society Strategy.
  • Support building and managing relationships across the E2E, to establish an effective working relationship to create and validate the accuracy of the ARIS maps with the appropriate approvals and be responsible to ensure that all documentation is stored appropriately for governance purposes.
  • Accountable for identifying continuous improvement opportunities and logging them effectively
