Change Management and Organizational Design Manager
SUMMARY
The position leads the development and execution of change management strategies and plans, project management activities, and drives the implementation of organizational design changes to support workforce transitions. This role involves partnering with business leaders, client services / HR business partners, Organizational Effectiveness consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver change efforts. The Change Management and Organizational Design Manager ensures accountability, mitigates risks and monitors outcomes to measure the success of change initiatives.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Consulting Services within Org & Talent. The position is hybrid (2 days/week), from our downtown Toronto office.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Human Capital consulting, including Change Management, Organizational Design, Human Resources, and Project Management, focusing on designing and delivering change management and organizational design solutions.
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end change management efforts for large-scale organizational initiatives.
- Expertise in organizational design strategies, principles, framework, approaches and solutions to support business objectives and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing workforce transitions, role realignment communications, and team effectiveness strategies.
- Strong project management experience with expertise in managing complex and cross-functional projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in Change Management or Organizational Design.
- Certification in project management.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Global collaboration and communication experience particularly within a matrixed organization.
- Expertise in developing targeted communications materials including positioning, framing of complex concepts in simple ways and decision-making facilitation.
- Solid understanding of workforce transitions, organizational structures and process analysis.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships, working with all levels and influencing stakeholders across an organization.
- Ability to synthesize complex information, collect and interpret data, identify trends and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ability to problem solve and manage conflict.
