This programme will be delivered over a multi-year period with global geographic reach.
Within Voyager’s Global Change Management team, Diageo is seeking a Change Project Manager who has relevant project and change management experience to lead the planning, integration & delivery of change workstream activities & outcomes across and within waves. The successful candidate has the opportunity to play a substantial role in driving Diageo’s transformation.
Purpose of Role
The Change Project Manager is an important member of Voyager’s Global Change leadership team, playing a key role in ensuring Voyager’s global change management activities are planned and delivered on time and budget. Through great planning, organization and communication, the role will drive delivery of Global Change activities across multiple waves, achieving key milestones and ensuring close alignment with dependent workstreams and key stakeholders.
Outcomes will be achieved by working within the Global Change Teams (Change Impacts, Communications & Stakeholder Engagement and Training teams), third-party service providers, Regional and Local Change and Deployment teams, Voyager Leadership team and business stakeholders.
The role can be located flexibly and from time to time, will require travel to other Diageo sites.
Key Accountabilities
1. Lead planning and plan management for Global Change, ensuring clear communication of Change milestones, activities and deliverables within and across waves. Where required, enhance and expedite delivery of change sub workstreams or specific waves.
2. Partner with Voyager teams e.g. PMO & Deployment, to ensure Global change plans are aligned & integrated with programme and workstream plans.
3. Lead Change Management plan reporting of status, risks, issues, dependencies and actions to provide visibility of the schedule, budget, resources and business outcomes. Identify and resolve risk & issues, escalating as required.
4. Drive efficiency by identifying & implementing opportunities to streamline & simplify change & Voyager programme ways of working.
5. Work with Voyager PMO to embed consistent programme governance, standards & ways of working across the Change teams.
6. Support Change Management contractor resourcing to ensure high performing teams deliver the change outcomes.
7. Manage financial and resource trackers, etc for Global Change workstream across the waves.
8. Bring strong knowledge of SAP / S4 project and / or change management planning and activities.
Qualifications and experience required
- Significant Project Management experience in technology enabled technology & data transformations in complex, global, matrix organisations.
- 3+ years’ experience in Change Management with excellent knowledge of end-to-end change management processes and best practices.
- Ability to work successfully with various management levels.
- Track record of working with or managing third-party providers to steer, input and collaborate to achieve project goals as one team.
- Experience in delivering outcomes through a global Change network and/or supporting regional and local teams.
- Ability to deliver high-quality, clear communications in compressed timelines.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and providing clarity through ambiguity.
- Proficient in using a variety of tools to develop plans and issue communications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Yammer, Teams, etc.)
- Degree educated.
