We’re hiring a Change and Communications Specialist to join us at Toll Group, based in our Port Melbourne office. This is an exciting 12-month fixed term opportunity to lead impactful transformations. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead strategic IT initiatives by developing and executing change strategies that ensure smooth adoption and usage among our teams. Your expertise will minimise resistance to change, driving faster adoption rates and enhancing employee proficiency. Your goal? A day in the life of a Change Specialist at Toll Group:

  • Develop and implement robust methodologies for effective change management, ensuring structured execution and high impact.
  • Utilise proven change management methodologies, processes, and tools to strategize and promote adoption of project-driven changes.
  • Lead IT-wide communication initiatives to guide teams through upcoming and implemented changes, fostering clarity and alignment.
  • Design and deliver critical communications to ensure engagement and understanding throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and engage key stakeholders for seamless transitions.
  • Champion organization-wide training to align teams with transformative initiatives and enhance organizational capability.
  • Establish best practices in IT change and communication, collaborating with leaders to optimize productivity and maximise change benefits.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Experience leading organisational change processes with a proven track record of guiding teams through transformation.
  • Proficiency in change management principles, methodologies, and tools, with hands-on experience implementing them in complex environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with active listening abilities to facilitate effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong relationship management capabilities to build and maintain productive partnerships across various organisational levels.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, driving alignment towards shared objectives.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches and tools, particularly in the context of large-scale IT transformations, demonstrating strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
