Position Summary
The Channel Account Manager Role Expand enablement of existing partners and develop new channel partners as a partner sales representative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand business with existing partners.
  • Develop and execute strategies to develop new partners.
  • Various activities to promote cloud business with partners.
  • Proposal for improvement of internal processes for smooth execution of partner business.
  • Study how to conduct business efficiently with direct sales divisions.
  • Implementation of solution training for partners and support improvement of partner skills.
  • Support partner sales activities and, in any case visit prospect with them.
  • Manage and develop value-added distributors.
  • Strong adaptive to change.

Key Requirements/Experience

  • Possess strong sales background with a successful track record of handling high value sales cycles.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in channel software sales in the enterprise software market preferably for ERP / Supply Chain / BI solutions.
  • Ability to work with partner teams across region with multi-cultural set up.
  • Proven Sales track records in a very dynamic and demanding environment in sales of enterprise software applications which should not be limited to large, multi-year engagements but include software systems at the departmental and group level, with an emphasis on speed to delivery and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills in enterprise solutions sales.
  • Prior experience in selling Infor ERP or similar solutions would be advantageous.
  • A University Degree from a well-recognized tertiary institution, preferably in related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 8 years of solid successful track record of channel sales / direct sales experience in the related industry/reseller markets.
  • Focus on generating and driving sales through channels and inside sales in Malaysian market.
  • Specific knowledge in one or more of the following Industrial Manufacturing, Automotive and Distribution
