REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
To succeed in this role, you must be a solution-oriented self-starter with a highly entrepreneurial spirit, and a hunter mentality to successfully drive new partner recruitment. You should have a minimum of 3 year’s experience with enterprise software solutions sales, with a proven track record of attracting, developing and managing channel partners and be able to comfortably articulate solutions and value propositions to our partners at all levels of seniority. You should be results-oriented, with proven ability to negotiate and close deals and strong strategic and tactical abilities. A self-driven, proactive, customer-centric personality is key, along with drive and initiative to complete tasks. Working independently, you must be able to prioritize, multi-task and manage your time efficiently. We seek candidates with good interpersonal skills, who are able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of management and other stakeholders. Fluency in English is a must, as it is our main language within Qmatic, and a second language (French) is highly desirable. You should feel comfortable working “virtually” with teammates and clients around the world, as we rely heavily on MS Teams for collaboration. Experience with customer and workflow solutions is preferred, along with CRM platforms; (Salesforce preferred), and strong knowledge of computers, desktop software applications and IT solutions. Regular travel will be required as part of the role.
Responsibilities:
You will:
- Ensure that regional channel sales targets are met
- Manage the channel development process and maintain partner relations
- Review market analysis to determine customer needs and growth potential, and develop activities aligned with corporate goals
- Identify new opportunities in regional and sector areas to enable channel expansion and growth
- Interact with the global marketing department for lead generation opportunities
- Identify stakeholders within the partner organizations and customer prospects
- Conduct presentations and negotiations with clients and partners
- Provide product demonstrations
- Create and prepare quotes
- Negotiate and close deals
- Represent Qmatic at trade association meetings and trade shows
- Coordinate with presales resources throughout the sales process
- Support the response to RFP’s
- Report opportunities and sales cycle status using Salesforce
- Develop new leads
- Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales from partners
- Other job-related duties as assigned
