POSITION SUMMARY

Manage relationships with external stakeholders associated with Xcel Energy’s Distributed Energy Resources (DER) portfolio. Currently this is primarily renewable programs including those that support on-site solar installations, community solar gardens, and equity offerings. This includes working with trade and trade organizations to facilitate and build strong relationships and support interactions and a clear understanding of our programs and offerings. Position will primarily support trade in Colorado and Minnesota.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree required (business or marketing related preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in marketing, product management or sales is required. Team and peer leadership with excellent communications skills and proven results.
  • 2 years experience with regulatory requirements and conservation programs is preferred.

    The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $92,300.00 to $130,567.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plan to increase activity and support of Xcel Energy’s Renewable and broader Distributed Energy Resource portfolio and services by third party channels; influencing business customers energy efficiency decisions.
  • Develop and execute communication, promotion and training plans to third party channels. Negotiate, prepare and execute contracts or agreements with third party channels.
  • Develop and execute sales incentive and/or promotion programs for third party channels.
  • Develop budgets and sales forecasts for third party channels. Track the progress of channel sales against target goals.
