JR58581 Channel Quoting Analyst
As a Channel Quote Analyst in the Sales Operations organization at Micron, you will be responsible for interfacing with channel partners to respond to price quote requests and inquiries. Pre-sale duties include selling Micron’s product line, accountable to grow sales with select channel customers, and provide pricing, availability, and product information. Post-sale duties include the research and analysis of pricing as well as identifying product availability on quotes which have a high potential of winning the business.
The Channel Quote Analyst will maintain and grow channel customer relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure revenue and sales plan goals are met. You will present a target driven and sales mindset while driving to increase customer satisfaction through an exceptional customer experience. You will also work internally to implement streamlined and efficient business processes aligned to Sales Operations objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a subset of channel customers and drive to meet/exceed established revenue and sales targets and metrics
  • Align to Micron’s Channel leadership selling strategies
  • Make independent pricing decisions within given guidelines
  • Manage quotes within an assigned region/territory or rep firm and help train and direct information out within the defined area of responsibility.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of our product portfolio and provide accurate direction to customers to ensure a correct product solution is provided.
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Be an expert on market pricing and own any escalation required to win the business.
  • Work with Sales and/or Sales Operations to resolve any escalated delivery and/or pricing issues.
  • Provide contract pricing guidelines to our sales team and provide blanket pricing.
  • Quote follow up and determine what we need to do to win the business
  • Go-to pricing person for assigned region/customers
  • Achieve the department’s key metrics/goals
  • Manage business processes within area of responsibility
