Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Applications are invited for one or more Chapman Fellowships in Mathematical Finance within the Mathematical Finance Section of the Department of Mathematics, commencing September 2025. These will be for a fixed term of 2 years. The posts provide an excellent opportunity for those seeking to pursue an academic career in Mathematical Finance.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

You will produce independent and original research in Mathematical Finance, interpreted broadly, within the Department of Mathematics, submit publications to leading refereed journals, and help with teaching and administration. You will be expected to undertake a self-directed program of research and scholarship, play a role in the national and international Mathematics community, in addition to teaching students at undergraduate level. You will also take a role in MSc teaching and project supervision, as appropriate.
