We are seeking a dynamic and innovative person to manage our busy Charity Shop in Reading West Corps based in Reading. Previous retail experience in a management capacity is essential, as is the ability to manage and work well with a team of staff and volunteers, and deal with cash management and financial records.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage the Reading West Charity Shop and to promote the mission of the Salvation Army, ensuring maximum profitability from the sales of donated items whilst taking into account the need to support the community & the Salvation Army’s wider mission. You will also be responsible for developing vision, and for recruiting & managing a team of volunteers and conducting regular performance reviews.
