Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service to our customers
- Supervising a large team
- Closing off the checkout department in the evening
- Ensuring checkout operators are following the right process at the checkout.
- Monitoring the security of the checkout area
- Keeping on top of customer flow and ensuring appropriate numbers of checkouts are open at all times.
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints appropriately
- Ensuring the Checkout area is always kept clean and tidy.
- Following the Sales of Liquor Policy and guidelines in the store
- Following the Health and Safety, Food Safety policies and compliance procedures in the store
- Coach and support new team members.
