Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will work closely with the warehouse supervisors to make sure operations processes are evangelised by all associates. The chosen candidate will be able to learn and understand the processes of the four main functions at the distribution center: inbound, outbound, returns and stock management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Acts as role model demonstrating the importance of quality standards, accuracy and adhering to strict safety standards.

  • Meets daily objective assigned by shift supervisor

  • Leads small groups of associates to completing operations tasks

  • Ensures planification and daily adjustment of needed hours to treat operations and deplete backlogs under his responsibility

  • Monitors and takes action to maintain service levels for the assigned tasks

  • Handles complex problem solving tasks that go beyond SOP

  • Liaises with the customer experience and other business units for exception management

  • Handles ad-hoc tasks assigned by the shift supervisor

  • Trains new coming associates to the processes that he follows on a daily basis

  • Targets the associates with potential, and offers them training and development opportunities to maximize their skills.

  • Demonstrates drive and creativity in suggesting and executing tasks that contribute to our operations excellence mandate

  • Inspires commitment and bring co-workers recognition
