THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Chef de Partie ideally with 2 years experience in a comparable role, experience in Japanese cuisine is a must, strong communication and work ethic, the ability to maintain and manage the appointed kitchen section, a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing sushi and sashimi - experience with this is a must
- The operation of your appointed kitchen section
- Quality execution of all food offerings
- Contributing to the overall customer experience
- Assisting in the execution of stock management including, ordering, receipting, storing, rotation, portion control and wastage
- Meeting and exceeding Savor standards of quality and consistency
- Adhering to health and safety, food control plan, and company policies
- Guiding junior staff members
- Adhering to tasks as requested by the Head Chef and senior team members
