Responsibilities

  • Running the day-to-day operation of the kitchen
  • Produce food efficiently, economically, and hygienically for Guests and Team Members
  • Maintain a high standard of food preparation and presentation, according to recipes and standards
  • Training juniors
  • Use all equipment, tools, and machines appropriately
  • Assist with inventory storage and management
  • Work closely with the Stewarding department and all other kitchen staff
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude toward colleagues, supervisors, and Guests

About You

  • Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship required)
  • Preferably based in the Perth Metropolitan Area
  • Friendly and hard-working with a passion for hospitality
  • Commercial Cookery Certificate
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong English communication with confident leadership abilities
  • Knowledgeable in HACCP
  • Reliable and works well under pressure
  • Skilled in time management and organization
  • Ability to work in hot environments and stand on feet for long periods
