Chefs for Chefs is proud to be recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive Chef de Partie to join the talented team. This traditional Yorkshire pub offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with 11 luxurious bedrooms, 4 self-catering lodges, a spa and leisure club, and a 64-cover restaurant and bar. The venue also features The Netherside Suite, an elegant setting for weddings and events, making it a unique and vibrant place to work.
Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Chef de Partie, you will be an integral part of the kitchen brigade, assisting in delivering high-quality dishes and ensuring the smooth operation of your designated section. You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain high culinary standards and contribute to the ongoing success of the restaurant and event services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your section to the highest standards.
- Managing and training any Commis Chefs working with you.
- Ensuring the highest levels of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchen.
- Assisting with menu development and specials, contributing creative ideas.
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels, ensuring effective rotation and minimizing waste.
- Supporting the team during busy service periods and working collaboratively to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhering to all food safety and health and safety regulations.
