Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Chef de Partie- Pastry to join our family on a full-time basis. This position reports to the Head Chef & Executive Chef.
Working pattern: Shift work / Monday to Sunday / 5 days per week with 2 days off / rotas are done on a weekly basis.
Salary: £35,000 per annum including service charge

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS A STRONG BACKGROUND IN A CULINARY ENVIRONMENT, EITHER AS A CHEF DE PARTIE WITH OVER 2 YEARS’ EXPERIENCE. A SKILLED PROFESSIONAL WITH THE ABILITY TO OVERSEE SPECIFIC KITCHEN SECTIONS AND WITH A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF UPHOLDING THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF CULINARY EXCELLENCE AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE OVERALL SUCCESS OF THE DINING EXPERIENCE.

As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for:

  • ensuring guests are always receiving an exceptional dining experience
  • working with Head Chef to plan creative menu and correct food preparation
  • ensuring that all food items are prepared as per standard recipe cards
  • maintaining portion control and minimizing waste
  • checking the food stock levels within the culinary department areas
  • checking quantity and quality in relevance to the hotel occupancy
  • supervising Chefs and Kitchen Porters and their activities within the kitchen
  • training team members on RCH culinary standards and inspire team members to produce imaginative TNTs, thus creating a memorable guest experience
