QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Chef De Partie role or similar.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple sections efficiently.
• Good knowledge of the latest food trends and culinary techniques.
• Flexibility to work full-time across a rotating schedule (5 days over 7).

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate Chef De Partie to join our kitchen team here at The Maryborough Hotel. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside talented chefs in a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Chef De Partie, you’ll support the team by assisting with daily kitchen operations and providing leadership across all sections as needed.
This role requires someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset. We value continuous learning and professional growth, and you’ll be supported in your development by our Executive Chef and team, who bring a wealth of both local and international experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support and oversee different kitchen sections as required, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of kitchen standards and procedures.
• Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all dishes prepared.
