Description:
CONTRACT: PERMANENTSALARY: £13 PER HOUR
A thriving IAPS day school for boys aged 4-13 located in Beaconsfield. Catering for 400 students and teachers daily. We offer a core feeding of breakfast club, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and after school club. There is some hospitality daily at this location. This is a term-time only contract workign 39 weeks and operates Monday to Friday. Additional benefit to this location is free on site parking.
We are looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Beaconsfield.
You will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ideally with exposure to pastry work.
Experience in producing cakes, bread, and pastry from scratch will be highly welcomed, though full training and development will be provided to help you refine your culinary skills.
You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients, contribute to regularly changing bespoke menus, and support the team in both savory and pastry preparation. You will be creative, detail-oriented, and eager to showcase your skillset across various areas of the kitchen.

KNOWLEDGE / COMPETENCIES:
- Basic understanding and ability to communicate in verbal English.
- A reasonable standard of written English and reading skills.
- Experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred, especially in pastry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the kitchen team in preparing and cooking fresh dishes for lunch service and hospitality, including bread, cakes, and desserts.
- Support the production of food using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, while adhering to the company’s brand standards.
- Collaborate with the pastry team to produce high-quality desserts and baked goods.
- Ensure company food standards are met and wastage is controlled.
- Adhere to all Food Hygiene, Health & Safety, and allergen control procedures.
