About the Role
As a Chef at The Crossing Theatre, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills by planning and designing delicious, nutritious, and innovative menus. Your creativity will shine as you consistently produce high-quality meals in line with current trends. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the day-to-day running of The Crossing Theatre’s kitchen
- Produce consistent quality food
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety legislation and Health and Safety regulations
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness
- Contribute to cost and waste minimisation strategies
About You
We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef with excellent organisational and time management skills will allow you to excel in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads and changing priorities. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, that also thrives in an team environment but also can work individually. The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Demonstrates experience in a commercial kitchen
- Possesses a great understanding about WHS & OHS
- Availability to work a variety of shifts
- High attention to detail and exceptional problem solving skills
