We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen’s day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards. The position involves close collaboration with management and other staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to manage a team and provide training when necessary.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Plan menus, estimate food and labor costs, and manage the ordering of food supplies.
• Monitor the quality of dishes at every stage, from preparation to presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence.
• Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to address food preparation issues and ensure dietary needs are met.
• Demonstrate culinary techniques and provide guidance on cooking procedures to staff members.
• Prepare and cook meals, maintaining the highest standards of taste and presentation.
• Explain and enforce hygiene regulations, ensuring the kitchen meets health and safety standards.
• Select, train, and manage kitchen staff as needed.
• Manage food preservation processes, including freezing, to ensure food is stored safely.
