Are you our new ambitious student assistant that wants to help us in the R&D department and gain hands-on experience working in the Medico Industry?

You will become part of the EHS & Metrology team - part of the Test & Characterization organisation, who is a part of our R&D organisation - dedicated to ensuring that Coloplast’s EHS performance is world class as we continue to make life easier for people with intimate health care needs.

At our headquarters in Humlebæk, you will join the EHS & Metrology team working to ensure a safe and healthy working environment and environmentally responsible operations. We are responsible for supporting Coloplast’s strategic EHS plan incl. the EHS management system certified to ISO 14001 and 45001 standards. To succeed, we collaborate closely with a wide range of stakeholders within and outside of Coloplast.

As our new Chemical Assistant, you will have a wide number of tasks and will contribute to improving our EHS performance within chemical safety. Responsibilities:

Manage Safety Data Sheets in our chemical managing system (CHESS) for the Danish Sites
Control of incoming Safety Data Sheets to ensure correct CLP classification of chemicals (The Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation EC)
Creating and managing labels to our internal chemical mixtures
Managing toxic substance authorisations for Coloplast’s Humlebæk site
Assisting with enquiries from the global Coloplast organisation in relation to CHESS and other EHS aspects
Various ad hoc tasks for the department and the onsite laboratories
