Chemical Engineer

• Participate in implementation of new precious metal recovery line
• Manage and take care of recovery line post implementation
• Research and implement processes to enhance productivity and streamline workflow
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and processes to ensure optimal functioning
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards and protocols, participate in audits to ensure compliance and standards
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to maintain smooth production operations
• Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments
• Maintain accurate records, including logsheets and relevant documentation required for compliance
• Keep equipment calibrations and inspections current as per designated schedules
• Promoting Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) initiatives among operators
• Ensure proper housekeeping and storage of chemicals and wastewater
• Work without supervision/guidance
• Assist with procurement of goods/finding new customers/leads to ensure sufficient feedstock for recovery line

Minimum Requirement

• 2 years of experience in relevant field
• Degree / Advance diploma preferred
