JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly motivated Chemical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing processes and equipment for chemical manufacturing. Your role will involve conducting research, performing experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to improving production efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in chemical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation in the field.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in chemical process design and development, prior experience as a Chemical Engineer has an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, independent and resourceful
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• Strong knowledge of engineering science and technology including the safe use and disposal of chemicals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, project management and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools.

• Designing and optimizing chemical processes and equipment using scientific, mathematical and engineering principles.
• Designing, review, correcting, conducting experiments and analysing data to improve production processes to achieve company goals.
• Troubleshooting issues and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Perform chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials and products.
• Communicate results of analysis and research.
• Collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Developing and implementing new technologies to improve manufacturing processes.
• Evaluating and recommending equipment upgrades or modifications.
• Documenting processes and procedures for reference and training purposes.
• Assist with establishing budgets and timelines
