Description:

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Chemical Operator to be a part of our team. You will be responsible for monitoring and handling the use of chemicals in the production process. You should be able to check the chemicals for its ingredients, weight, temperature, and usability.
As a Chemical Operator, you should be able to oversee the quality of the production process and accordingly suggest new improvement measures. Also, you should ensure that the chemicals are handled properly and transported to different locations safely. Furthermore, you should also check the condition of the equipment used and ensure any damaged parts are replaced/repaired.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a Chemical Operator or a similar role in the Production industry
  • Complete understanding of the chemical processes and safety protocols
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented individual
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent physical dexterity
  • Best multitasking ability
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the type of chemicals used in the production process
  • Storing and labeling the chemicals in correct containers
  • Weighing the chemicals and checking the temperature of the same
  • Ensuring all safety precautions and health protocols are being followed at all times
  • Identifying any issues in the production process and troubleshooting the same
  • Reporting any on-site accidents and injuries to the senior management
  • Overseeing the quality of the production process and suggesting improvement measures
  • Wearing safety gear when performing daily activities
  • Adjusting and controlling the temperature and pressure of the chemical processing equipment
  • Ensuring that the chemicals are handled and transported in a safe manner
  • Checking if equipment is in working order and scheduling repairs
