Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, the Chemical Operator is responsible for manufacturing Solvent Borne products according to Helmitin’s quality and safety requirements.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Load and unload chemicals into mixing vessels using best safety practices
• Operate and maintain processing equipment according to Helmitin’s quality and safety requirements
• Prepare batches for processing according to batch sheet requirements
• Pump solvents into mixing vessels, storage vessels and packaging according to Helmitin’ quality and safety requirements.
• Test and adjust viscosity of finished products according to Helmitin’s quality and safety requirements
• Operate forklift
• Inform Department Lead Hand of any raw materials or supplies needed
• Clean and organize necessary areas (including equipment)
• Perform inventory count duties
• Perform Production Assistant duties as required
• Assist other departments as required.
